The smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs. 16,990. Here are our first impressions of Oppo K3.

Oppo K3 launched in India at a price of Rs 16,990,...

After some interesting budget offerings by Redmi and Realme, Oppo launched its Oppo K3 in India on 19th July. The device goes live for sale in India starting July 23. The device is priced at Rs 16,990 for the 6GB/64GB variant, and Rs 19,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant.

Starting today, the Vivo V15 Pro will be available in new prices of Rs 23,990 and Rs 26,990. The Vivo V15 Pro was launched in India in two variants with 6GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM. The base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage can now be purchased for Rs 23,990, whereas the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB of storage can be picked for Rs 26,990. The new prices of the V15 Pro are already effective across online and offline platforms. Mahesh Telecom, the offline seller, has posted this information on Twitter. However, online portal Flipkart is also selling the phone at reduced prices. The Vivo V15 Pro is available in two colours variants- Ruby Red and Topaz Blue. The 8GB RAM variant of the V15 Pro comes in only Ruby Red colour option.

When Vivo launched the V15 Pro in India, it was the only phone under Rs 30,000 to offer a pop-up selfie camera and in-display fingerprint scanner. However, a lot has changed in the Indian smartphone industry after the Vivo V15 Pro launch. We now have pop-up selfie camera phones under Rs 15,000 and they also ship with in-display fingerprint scanners. For example, the Realme X and the Oppo K3 are priced at Rs 16,990, and they offer in-display fingerprint scanner, AMOLED screen, pop-up selfie camera and big batteries too. Considering these phones, the Vivo V15 Pro seems to be an overpriced one, however, the fact that it's available in the offline market for masses is worth considering. The Realme X and Oppo K3 are online-only phones, for now.

Initially, Vivo launched the 6GB+128GB variant of the V15 Pro at Rs 28,990, but later on, the Chinese company brought the 8GB+128GB variant of the phone in Ruby Red colour option. As mentioned, the V15 Pro's 6GB variant costs Rs 23,990 and the 8GB variant is priced at Rs 26,990 after the price cut.

Oppo K3 Vs Realme X: Oppo launched its latest mid segment premium smartphone K3 in July this year. The phone is priced on lines of Realme X and offers quite similar features and specifications too. Realme X, the flagship phone from Realme and Oppo K3, have created quite a tough competition in the market and buyers would certainly be looking for some clarity. So, if you are also confused and planning to buy any one out of two, then read this comparison. 2ff7e9595c
